An active IBISWorld subscription with MCP access enabled – if you are unsure if you meet this requirement, reach out to your relationship manager to confirm
An active paid ChatGPT license – i.e. a Team or Pro license
Configuration Steps#

On your menu, select "Plugins"

Select the plus sign to add a new plugin.

In the new Plugin you're creating, populate the following details: 4.
You will then be brought to an IBISWorld login page. Login with your IBISWorld credentials that have been properly set up with MCP.

After logging in, you'll be brought back to ChatGPT and your MCP will be connected.
Testing your Connection#
Once you've set up your Connection, use the following test prompts to ensure your connection is fully up and running. Ensure you use a prompt that covers a geography within your subscription with IBISWorld.Example test prompt:
Using the IBISWorld MCP server, summarize the industry outlook for the hotel industry in <US, UK, Germany, Canada, Australia>
If your connection is properly set up, you will see the IBISWorld MCP called, and the relevant tools loaded.
